A  gold regency period multi gemstone brooch, the stones set in cut down claw settings with foil backing.  The gemstones are topaz and aquamarine with a pink foiled quartz crystal in the centre.
The piece is in excellent condition with original pin and clasp.
Brooches such as this with a combination of coloured stones were very popular in the regency period, the silver foil backing of the  stones making the most of reflected light when the piece was  worn at candlelit events.
